I am the Lord

Isaiah 45:5

I am the LORD, and there is no other; apart from me there is no God. I will strengthen you, though you have not acknowledged me

Father, I pray that I expound on this scripture from your heart. You are the alpha and the omega, the only God. You have stretched out the heavens, you have made man and you have brought us back to yourself through redemption. There is none like you and you alone are worthy to be praised.

Love and Sovereignty comes to my heart when I think of this scripture. Who is like the Lord, who can tell him what to do, who can be his counselor. Who can contend with him? Nobody. It’s amazing how he cares for us even though we don’t know him and some will never choose to know him. We selfishly live our lives everyday without any thought of the Father. He is the creator of life. If I had a Benz and it needed to be fixed, the manual clearly states the steps that I need to take on how to address that problem or situation. God left us a manual here, and it’s his holy word. He also gave us his spirit, to comfort us, lead us, guide us, and most importantly seal us to the day of redemption.

Col..1:16 says… for all things in heaven and on earth were created by him – all things, whether visible or invisible, whether thrones or dominions, whether principalities or powers – all things were created through him and for him.

John 1: 3 says…All things were created by him, and apart from him not one thing was created that has been created.

Col 1:17 He himself is before all things and all things are held together in him.

( continue, exist, endure, hold together)

My God holds the very fiber of our being…..

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was fully God. The Word was with God in the beginning.

John 1:14 the Word became flesh and took up residence among us.

He became flesh to save mankind from eternal death because of sin! The word became flesh. He impregnated himself inside the womb of a virgin by his spirit thus fulfilling the prophecy he himself gave in Genesis .He said he would come through the seed of woman and crush the head of the devil.

No one could save us, so he sent himself. He so full of grace and mercy that he extended salvation to the gentiles even though the Jews were the chosen. He is so powerful and all knowing, He needs us for nothing.

David said in Psalms 144:3

O Lord, of what importance is the human race, that you should notice them? Of what importance is mankind, that you should be concerned about them?

We are his greatest creation, his prize possession. He called us to be sons in his kingdom to partake of his inheritance. So in all what was said The Lord Jesus has strengthened us even though we did not know him, although we don’t acknowledge him.

He still says….I am the LORD (Jehovah the existing one), and there is no other (only one, no other, childless); apart from me there is no God. I will strengthen (hold close) you, though you have not acknowledged me (recognized me)…..

Your brother in the Lord
